The Women’s Initiative held its 2nd Annual Awards Dinner on June 9 at the Crowne Plaza-Natick Hotel

 

The Women’s Initiative held its second annual Awards Dinner on June 9 at the Crowne Plaza-Natick Hotel.  The Initiative awarded its first annual scholarships, in conjunction with Mass Bay Community College, to five women from the MetroWest area.  
 
In addition, the second annual Leadership Awards were presented to: Morgan First (“She’s One To Watch”); Nancy Parker, Parker Virtual Office Services (“She Works”)’ Joonu-Noel Coste, Strategic Financial Planner (“She Cares”); and Helen Lemoine, Leadership Metrowest
(“She Has Impact”).

Keynote speaker Candy O’Terry, creator and co-host of Magic 106.7’s radio program, “Exceptional Women,” inspired and motivated the crowd.  The successful evening finished off with a raffle and silent auction.

Representatives from businesses and agencies will discuss resources and strategies for business owners.
