Metrowest Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber has joined “The Race to the Top Coalition,” an alliance of business, community and civic and education leaders and advocates— convening through the Boston Foundation—to support innovation and secure the Commonwealth’s share of $4.35 billion in stimulus money dedicated to new educational initiatives. The Coalition believes that the state has an unprecedented opportunity to provide all children with the quality education they deserve. That’s why the Coalition is supporting passage of the education reform bills currently being debated in the state legislature; passage will allow Massachusetts to compete effectively for a portion of the stimulus money.
